I was in the UK during the Brexit vote late last month. My new Scotch-Irish family members were quite devastated by the vote. The rest of the world experienced shock waves. Britain leaving the EU? It's a huge deal. I returned home to the US to this new spate of violence and racial targeting and the loss of lives. I don't know about all of you, but staying grounded is a constant challenge. This post is a little pick-you-up: the best thing we can do is stay calm, stay grounded, help each other and be good friends and neighbors to each other.
